Windows 11 has been available to Insiders program members since the end of June. However, Microsoft’s new operating system has so far been reserved for the Dev channel only. However, since Thursday July 29, Microsoft has rolled out its fourth version of Windows 11 to Beta Channel Insiders.
This new buildnumbered 22000.100 focuses above all on fixes but also brings several new features such as the arrival of Microsoft Teams chat, the menu of icons hidden at the bottom right of the taskbar, the concentration assistant in the notification center and others features.

Insiders have a choice of three channels
As a reminder, users who have joined the Insider program can now install Windows 11 on their PC. This program, intended for advanced users, offers three test channels.
One Dev channel, which as its name suggests is mainly dedicated to developers. It allows you to take advantage of the latest news more quickly. However, the versions of Windows 11 offered in the Dev channel are also generally rife with bugs.
You also have a beta channel, which offers less frequent updates but with fewer bugs.
And finally, the preview channel, which is the last step before the updates are rolled out to the general public. Insiders of this channel thus benefit from an almost final update.
Beta Channel Insiders Can Download Windows 11
For example, users who joined the Insider program before June 2021 and configured to receive updates in the beta channel will now be able to download Windows 11 on their PC. They will take advantage of build 22000.100 but will not be able to take advantage of the Microsoft Teams feature which is available in the Dev channel.
Also note that users who have already installed Windows 11 in the Dev channel can switch to the beta channel if they want to take advantage of less frequent but more stable updates.
