Stamping without losing quality
Stamping without losing the …
There is nothing better than seeing your digital creation in something material and that you can visualize it in the prints of your products. However, we know that not everything is rosy, because there are times when your prints do not come out as you expect, so in this small space we will tell you what you should look for to leave as you dreamed.
Table of Contents
What should I look at?
These three points are very important when you are going to print your textile designs: resolution, template design and printing formats. Here we tell you more in detail about each one.
Resolution
We begin with the resolution, because it is the most important thing you should consider. Pixels are elements that you must take care of meticulously; Do not make the mistake of thinking that the larger the resolution, the better its quality. In this way, it is important that when you have your design, open it in a program like Photoshop, so you can confirm if the image looks pixelated depending on the size you are looking to stamp. How can it be verified? Not extending the image, but making a maximum zoom to identify that the pixels of each color are sharp.
Template Design
Now let’s talk about the files you should design. So you can better manipulate your prints, it is important that you design them under continuity.
This scheme is ideal because at the time of printing, the more continuity the elements count, the more accurate they will appear in the place you are. If you join the pictures you will see that the elements do not lose shape, but thanks to continuity they are spliced without losing important features.
Formats
These are the formats that I can recommend the most so that at the time of printing you have no problem: TIF, PDF, or even an Illustrator file. The most recommended color gamut is RGB because of the amount of colors it contains.
