Tadeo Soriano is a graphic designer who works from Lima, Peru, on the occasion of the challenge of 36 Days of Type 2020, decided to create 26 letters with 3D effect, inspired by characters from television series.
They are pure classic characters, which gives you an idea of the age of the designer. Cartoon characters appear such as: Spongebob, Bugs Bunny, among many others.
The 26 letters and numbers are very well done, you immediately find the shape of the letter or number. What is complicated is found when you try to remember the name of the character or the name of the cartoon where it appears.
It happened to me that I recognize the character by the colors, the shape or the clothes, but it was very difficult for me to remember all the names of the characters. It is a very well done project from start to finish.

I am a huge fan of all the designers who enter the 36 Days of Type challenge. For those who do not know what it is about, the challenge is to publish a design made by you of each letter of the alphabet, along with the numbers, for 36 days in a row without fail.
The designs you make can be published on your social networks, along with the hashtag # 36DaysofType2020. There are no winners, there are no judges to review your designs, it is a personal challenge.
I entered the challenge a couple of times and it is a very complicated task, I spent all day trying to find original and creative ways to make a design of the letter of the day.
I have seen many illustrators and designers eager to enter the challenge, but the illusion ends more or less on the 12th. Because ideas run out, no matter how hard you try, you can’t find inspiration to make a design. That is why many creatives do not comply with the project and leave it unfinished.
That’s why every time I find a complete project, which contains all the letters and all the numbers, I share it on my social networks and here on the blog. I am more pleased when the project is so well done, all the lyrics are great. And you like the designs that Tadeo made more when you know that he designed a new letter every day.
Tadeo has an Instagram account and account on Behance, that’s where you can see their work in a large format. So you can see all the details of the letters and numbers.
In his Instagram account Tadeo publishes more photos but they are sketches and finished projects.
