The 16th edition of The International Poster Biennial in Mexico, open call for all creatives from anywhere in the world, can send their work to compete.
The International Poster Biennial in Mexico is one of the three oldest prestigious in the world.
The deadline to send a poster is the May 15, 2020. You can send up to a maximum of 6 posters, in each category (below you will find the list of all categories) or the 6 posters in a single category, you decide the distribution.
Groups, design firms, or independent creatives can participate. To enter the Biennial you don’t have to be a professional or you must have a degree as a graphic designer, if you have a poster you can be part of the Biennial.
Depending on the category in which you decide to participate, you can send your poster in digital format. There are a couple of categories where you should send your printed poster.

Sixteenth edition of the International Poster Biennial in Mexico
These are all the categories where you can send your posters to the Poster Biennial in Mexico:
1.- Category A
Poster published between 2018 and 2020 on any type of theme.
2.- Category B
Poster published between 2018 and 2020 about cinema.
3.- Category C
Unpublished poster for biodiversity.
4.- Category D
Unpublished poster for non-violence against women.
5.- Category E
Unpublished poster for a Mexico free of Corruption.
6.- Category F
Unpublished poster for more Competition so you can choose.
The posters that are chosen as the winners in each of the categories will be exhibited in the Franz Mayer Museum and other cultural venues and in universities throughout Mexico.
There are 3 awards, the first one takes: $ 100,000 MXN, gold medal for excellence José Guadalupe Posada and diploma.
The second place takes: silver medal and diploma. The third place prize is: bronze medal and diploma.
All the winning posters in each of the categories will be published on the page of the International Poster Biennial in Mexico on the day: July 7, 2020.
