This online tool is the Flaticon Pattern Generator. It is an automatic generator of patterns (patterns) based on icon sets.

Use function Random
This feature is my favorite. In the option of Search, let’s find an icon set that we like. We select it. Now, we just have to click on the Random option, in the upper right corner. This will automatically create a pattern for you based on the icons in that set.
The best thing about this option is that it uses all possible variations. Also, if you want to edit something specific, you can do it easily.
Generate pattern of different sets of icons
In the option of Search, we can search for different sets of icons. The great thing is that we can select the set we want, and there we can drag the individual icons that we need.
In addition, we can do multiple searches, and add icons from other sets.
Enlarge or rotate icons within the pattern
To enlarge or reduce an icon, we just have to click it and a circle will appear around it with a small circular handle.
If we drag that handle out, we will enlarge the icon, and if we drag it in, we will make it smaller. If you want to rotate the icon, we just have to drag the handle towards the direction you want to orient the icon.
Change the colors of the icons
This generator allows you to change the colors of each part of the icon. We just have to click, and select the color palette icon. There we can select one of the colors in the first row, these are the current colors of the icon. After having the color selected, we can select a new color from the options below.
In addition, we can select the option of Color Picker. There you will see all the currently selected colors. You can drag each circle to a new color.
Mirror / Invert the icons within the pattern
If you simply want to mirror or invert the icon, this is very easy. We click on the icon and select the second icon. You will automatically see how the icon is inverted.
Change the opacity of icons
To raise or lower the opacity of each icon, we just have to click on the icon that we must vary. We select the transparency option (the third option). A slider will appear to define the level of transparency.
Duplicate an icon within the pattern
If we want to duplicate an icon that we have already changed, we just have to click it. We choose the fourth option (Yes, the one that seems like children united by the hands that we cut off in our childhood). The icon you selected will automatically be duplicated.
You can now move the duplicate icon or do any other edit you want.
Remove icons from pattern
To remove an icon, you just have to click and choose the trash can option. This will immediately remove the selected icon from the pattern.
Change background color and opacity
Now, we can go to the BG option on the left. Here we have the option of choosing a background color for our entire pattern.
Likewise, it is possible to change the transparency or opacity of the background, using the slider.
Save and download icon patterns
If you have already edited your pattern and you are happy with the result. We just have to go to the option Download. There we can choose the type of file we need and the size.
Remember that an infinite pattern is created (seamless pattern), that is, it is repeated over and over again. So keep this in mind when deciding the size of your pattern.
