Illustrator for iPad it’s part of Adobe Creative Cloud, which means you can make designs on your iPad just like on a desktop computer and they will always be in sync. You can import Photoshop images into Illustrator thanks to the Creative Cloud Libraries.

Illustrator official app for iPad
Adobe will continue to update the Illustrator app for iPad, in the next versions you will be able to:
• Draw to vector
• Improved precision
• Variable width strokes
• New brushes
• Shadow and other effects
There are several applications that can do everything that the new Illustrator app for iPad does, some are one-time payment and others are even free. I suppose that more apps of this type will be coming out to make vector designs and illustrations, so you don’t have to make monthly payments.
The presentation of this app is good news for those who are already paying for Creative Cloud and also have an iPad.
This is not good news for those who only have iPad, but do not want to work in Illustrator on a desktop computer. It would be nice if Adobe had a one-time payment option, to install the app and forget about having to make monthly payments.
For now, those who have iPad, to download the app to test it and see if it is worth making the payment for the Illustrator app for iPad.
